Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Action Officer / Program Management Support Specialist to support an innovative program office. You will provide portfolio administration, program operations and logistics support, and execution processes across a diverse set of programs. You will work closely with the Front Office, Program Managers, technical SMEs, and supporting program offices to help ensure successful program execution through proactive task management, document coordination, acquisition support, and meeting and event planning. Work Location: Onsite: Arlington, VA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing program knowledge, actions, and tasks across a diverse portfolio of programs.
  • Experience providing proactive administrative and operational support across Front Office staff, Program Managers, technical SMEs, and supporting offices.
  • Experience developing and coordinating key program documents, including PADs and CUI Guides, in accordance with program policy and procedures.
  • Experience supporting acquisition documentation development and Scientific Review Board processes, including SRB documentation development and cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of associated business and financial management processes.
  • Experience coordinating meetings and events, including office calls, technical working groups, and industry days.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills with a forward-leaning attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Active Secret required, TS/SCI eligible

  • Experience supporting DoD research and development organizations.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management processes and internal workflow execution.
  • Experience with program operations, logistics coordination, and action tracking in fast-paced government environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing executive-level materials, briefings, and program support documentation.
