The Adjunct Faculty Instructor is responsible for teaching Short Term Health courses, providing subject matter expertise, adhering to lesson plans, meeting course objectives, and maintaining professional academic standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Delivering high-quality instruction in Short Term Health programs to promote student learning and engagement. Supervising and managing students in classroom or lab settings to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Keeping students informed about course content, requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance expectations. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve curricula that meet the objectives of the program. Ensuring compliance with WSU Tech’s academic standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • PN Technical Certificate required for LPN, Associates degree required or BSN for RN.
  • Experience in the health care field, particularly in short-term health education required.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage and inspire students.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous teaching or training experience in adult education preferred.
  • Current certifications related to health care professions, such as CPR, First Aid, or specific clinical skills, are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and willingness to utilize hybrid teaching methods as needed.
