As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access needs, and unusual activity with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates, posts, and/or entry points by verifying credentials, monitoring delivery and vehicle traffic, and directing visitors to designated check-in areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as required.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, preserve observations for follow-up, and handle assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific policies.
