MISSION: To be the onsite technical resource for daily issues arising from the process and/or inspection staff. To assist with process control issues, and cross training. This position qualifies for an 8% lead pay. LEAD DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains daily and weekly production output to meet the production plan and minimizes scrap. Ensures outgoing patterns meet or exceed standards. Enforces work standards per company policy. Ensures proper training of direct reports. Determines standards of performance as a basis to review progress of personnel assigned. Takes initiative on problem solving efforts. Reviews production and operating reports and ensures operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems are resolved to minimize costs and prevent operational delays. Ensures documentation of standard operational and working practices is followed. Collaborates on development and implementation of the structures and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its growth. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined, understood, and executed. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
