Requirements

Thorough understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and optical measurements used in manufacturing.
Strong, verbal, written and presentations skills to be used for TIS management and customers.
Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office products and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with three (3) plus years of experience, working as a manufacturing assembly engineer or with similar skills such as precision alignment, mounting, thermal cycling, CMM.
US citizenship due to access restrictions.

Responsibilities

Design and manufacture focal plane assemblies (FPAs) and analyze designs for validity.
Conduct and oversee in-process inspections and analyses obtained results versus specifications.
Document and support failure/root-cause analyses for non-conformities.
Perform precision alignment, die attachment and CMM measurements.
