Requirements
- Thorough understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and optical measurements used in manufacturing.
- Strong, verbal, written and presentations skills to be used for TIS management and customers.
- Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office products and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with three (3) plus years of experience, working as a manufacturing assembly engineer or with similar skills such as precision alignment, mounting, thermal cycling, CMM.
- US citizenship due to access restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Design and manufacture focal plane assemblies (FPAs) and analyze designs for validity.
- Conduct and oversee in-process inspections and analyses obtained results versus specifications.
- Document and support failure/root-cause analyses for non-conformities.
- Perform precision alignment, die attachment and CMM measurements.
