About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Client Manager to support our Group Health Benefits Insurance team in our Miami Lakes location. This position involves assisting in the delivery of benefits consulting services to employer groups. The ideal candidate will help with client service, research, open enrollment preparation, and administrative tasks related to benefits plans. Limited travel may be required during open enrollment periods. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in the employee benefits field and learn from experienced consultants. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years employee benefits brokerage, insurance company experience or benefits related human resources experience is required
  • Familiarity with group health plans is a plus.
  • Experience with Employee Navigator or other enrollment platforms is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Active Life and Health Insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with renewal preparation and client servicing.
  • Support team members during client meetings and open enrollment sessions.
  • Assist in gathering quotes, preparing proposal comparisons, and organizing benefit options for presentation.
  • Research and analyze employee benefits plans.
  • Help coordinate underwriting processes and documentation.
  • Maintain and update client records and plan documentation.
  • Support the planning and coordination of Health Fairs and other client events.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Communicate benefit options and processes clearly and professionally to clients.
  • Help maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefit products including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Disability, and voluntary products.
  • Perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned.
