Assistant Project Accountant

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Sage 300 Construction and more
- Experience working in an office setting preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong professionalism and confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Update contracts for change orders and associated budget amendments
- Ensure steady cash flow by monitoring project cash receipts and cash disbursements
- Review project budgets and collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Sub-Fabrication teams to ensure accuracy of project details
- Execute accurate and timely invoicing with supporting documentation to various contractors monthly
- Monitor contract compliance requirements to maintain timely payments
