Requirements

Bachelors’ degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science, or equivalent
Minimum of one year experience working with injection molding equipment is preferred.
Ability to work independently on troubleshooting and repairs of molding equipment.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards governing equipment maintenance and safety in medical device manufacturing, including FDA regulations and ISO 13485 quality management systems.
Ability to demonstrated and implement safety protocols, equipment inspections, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Experience with CMMS MaintainX preferred
Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to maintain healthy working relationships with the ability to motivate teams.
Ability to identify and promote improvement opportunities, drive innovation, and deliver sustainable growth.
Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
Strong time management skills and can work with multiple deadlines and commitments with little to no supervision.
Detail oriented and organizational skills.
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and formulas.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, ancillary equipment, and support systems.
Follows up on daily production issues, leads the team to increase yield, improving product quality and manufacturing cost reductions
Coordinate with Production team to address equipment downtime, troubleshoot and perform work order tasks independently.
Continuously improve preventative maintenance program.
Assist with maintaining ISO 13485 compliance for equipment maintenance logs, equipment qualification, and risk management documentation.
Assist with training programs for equipment operators to promote adherence to safety and quality standards.
Assist with inventory of maintenance supplies.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, standardize maintenance procedures, and optimize equipment reliability and performance.
Actively works towards goals established with supervisor.
