About The Position

FWI is building a team to provide video support services including maintenance, installation, integration, and programming of Audio Visual and Video Teleconference (AV/VTC) systems, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and Digital Signage across the Defense Logistics Agency Enterprise. As an Audio-Visual Command Meeting Engineer, you will provide priority support to Integrated Command Conference Rooms, Auditoriums, and Meeting Centers utilized by senior leadership, ensuring timely maintenance and resolution of AV/VTC issues within your assigned zone. Position is contingent upon contract award Work Schedule and Location: On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at DLA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience working with Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, and Extron.
AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification
Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification
AVIXA CTS Certification
Top Secret level security clearance is required

Responsibilities

Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces
Install projection screens, plasma TVs, and different types of speakers
Installation of AV systems on client sites
Read blueprints and wire AV racks
Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment
Testing, analyses, and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software
Travel within Zone B and provide augmentation support to other zones as needed. Zone B locations are Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland & Florida.
Respond within 4 hours (Priority 1) or 8 hours (Priority 2) to incidents
