About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A BUSINESS OFFICE LEAD MONTHLY BONUS OPPORTUNITY! Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Hospital Billing Office Lead ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient billing of behavioral health and chemical dependency claims? Join our team at South Sound Behavioral Hospital ! The Business Office Lead helps ensure the efficiency of billing, collecting and payment posting process. Provide timely follow-up and accurate collection of third party payer receivables. Review, investigate, and troubleshoot open accounts in order to maximize reimbursement per department protocol. Complete documentation of all collection activities in accounting system per departmental protocol. Recommend accounts for contractual, administrative, and charity write-offs to Business Office Manager in a timely manner. Process required reports weekly to the BOM. Active roll in the month end process. Prepare adjustments understand all logs, including Medicare bd, admin allow, charity, denials and any new ones that would arise. Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for: Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of collection experience in a healthcare setting is required. Hospital experience highly preferred. Working knowledge and understanding of insurance rules and regulations. Basic familiarity with MS Excel. Additional Skill Requirements: Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. Detail oriented and possessing strong time management skills is necessary in order to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. Compensation: This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $27-$28an hour + monthly bonus opportunity ! Requirements
