About The Position

We are seeking a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare team. This role plays a critical part in driving new business growth by identifying, qualifying, and advancing sales opportunities across Clarivate’s portfolio of data, analytics, and intelligence solutions. You will work closely with senior sales leaders to support the end-to-end sales process - from initial prospect engagement through deal progression - by engaging decision-makers, uncovering customer needs, and contributing directly to successful outcomes. By collaborating with other commercial teams to maximize revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients, you will maintain a robust pipeline for future sales by sourcing new prospects as well as qualifying inbound leads for conversion. About the Team Our team operates in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a strong emphasis on preparation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. BDAs receive hands-on exposure to complex sales cycles, close partnership with experienced sales leaders, and clear opportunities for professional growth and advancement within Clarivate. Hours of Work This is a full-time position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring you to be in the office 2-3 days a week. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Comfort engaging senior-level stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar tool) and MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and strategic follow-up on inbound leads
  • Engage senior decision-makers across life sciences and healthcare organizations to understand business challenges and priorities
  • Qualify prospects and collaborate with sales executives to advance opportunities toward close
  • Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and build informed outreach strategies
  • Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Support active deals by contributing insights, coordinating next steps, and helping drive momentum through the sales cycle
  • Accurately document activities, opportunities, and progress within Salesforce
  • Achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue-influencing targets aligned to quarterly goals
