About The Position

The Business Performance and Analytics Manager leads the development, monitoring, and reporting of the bank’s Strategic Plan and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment between business goals and data-driven insights. This role partners closely with business leaders, Finance, and technical teams to translate strategy into measurable outcomes, oversee dashboards and reporting solutions, and ensure timely, accurate analytics that support decision-making. The manager provides strategic direction, supervises and coaches a team of analytics professionals, and ensures effective delivery of performance metrics, reporting tools, and business application enhancements. This position plays a critical role in advancing organizational performance, process improvement, and continuous alignment with regulatory and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • OR equivalent of 5 years related experience working in a financial services organization
  • Strong understanding of how to collect, validate, analyze and report on data is critical to this role
  • Time Management/Prioritization; Ability to set timelines and deliver/meet deadlines
  • Willingness/Interest in learning new functions
  • Experience with Process Modeling with techniques like flowcharts and diagrams used to visualize processes and recommend improvements.
  • Understanding of Banking Operations; Knowledge of process and transactions within Banking
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, database management, and tools like ERP or CRMs

Responsibilities

  • Oversee translation of strategic planning concepts into measurable outcomes, ensuring team members effectively align business goals with actionable metrics.
  • Direct and monitor development and maintenance of strategic plan metrics, including creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensure business leads maintain divisional roadmaps.
  • Ensure collaboration between Business Units, Finance, and DMA to automate and update data for Strategic Plan KPIs, providing guidance and resolving escalations as needed.
  • Oversee collaboration between stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure development of business functional requirements for effective and efficient changes and enhancements to business-wide applications such as reports, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Creatio (CRM).
  • Provide direction for the design and creation of visual reports and dashboards, ensuring outputs meet stakeholder needs and support data-driven decision making.
  • Review and approve documentation prepared by Business Solutions Analyst, including functional business requirements, procedures, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Oversee the implementation and testing of the solutions created and ensure customer satisfaction with the output.
  • Monitor and prioritize open tickets related to Teams, SharePoint, CRM, SSRS/Power BI report requests, ensuring timely resolution by the team.
  • Assign and supervise projects, providing coaching and feedback to team members performing similar analytics and performance tasks.
  • Seve as coach / mentor, opening sharing guidance and technical expertise and ensure that learning resources are widely available to engage the organization in the business performance and analytics function and services.
  • Complete all yearly compliance training and testing and comply with bank, federal and state regulations and with bank policies and procedures. Adhere to departmental and bank-side service standards.
