Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands… As the Business Program Manager for Traka Americas, you will play a critical role in helping the organization translate strategic priorities into sustained business outcomes . This role is not about managing individual projects in isolation — it is about coordinating, influencing, and enabling change across multiple initiatives, teams, and geographies . Reporting to the President of Traka Americas, you will work closely with a cross-functional Change Committee representing all major areas of the business. Your role is to help the organization stay focused on the priorities that matter most, ensure initiatives are aligned and moving forward, and step in to support execution where gaps or dependencies exist. You will operate primarily through influence, collaboration, and structure , partnering across Traka Americas and with global KAM or ASSA ABLOY stakeholders where applicable to ensure change is understood, adopted, and delivering intended value to the business and our customers. Why This Role Matters… This role exists to help Traka move faster, stay aligned, and deliver meaningful results - not by adding layers, but by connecting people, priorities, and execution . The Business Program Manager will act as a force multiplier for the business, helping ensure that change efforts translate into real, sustained impact. What you will do… Change Program Leadership Own and maintain a clear, integrated view of enterprise change initiatives, priorities, and dependencies. Partner with business leaders to ensure initiatives align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable outcomes. Help teams stay focused on what matters most, escalating risks, conflicts, or misalignment early. Cross-Functional & Committee Collaboration Act as a key facilitator and coordinator for the Change Committee , ensuring effective communication, decision-making, and follow-through. Work across functions including Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT, Sales, HR, and Global teams to align efforts and manage interdependencies. Serve as a connector between regional and global initiatives where overlap or alignment is required. Execution Support & Enablement Step in to support execution where needed — including planning, coordination, documentation, communication, or problem-solving. Partner with initiative owners to clarify scope, sequencing, and expectations. Help remove blockers and keep initiatives moving forward. Change Adoption & Readiness Support stakeholder engagement, readiness, and adoption activities to ensure changes are understood and embedded. Coordinate communication and enablement efforts in partnership with functional leaders. Monitor progress and adoption indicators to assess whether change is delivering intended value. Governance, Tracking & Transparency Maintain program-level roadmaps, milestones, and status reporting. Track progress across initiatives and provide clear visibility to leadership. Ensure decisions, priorities, and next steps are clearly documented and communicated. Essential Functions… Program Coordination & Influence Ability to lead without direct authority and influence across a matrixed organization. Strong facilitation skills with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving alignment in complex environments. Business & Change Mindset Strong understanding of how organizational change impacts people, processes, and systems. Practical, execution-oriented approach to change — focused on outcomes, not theory. Ability to balance structure with flexibility. Planning & Execution Skills Strong planning, organization, and prioritization capabilities. Experience managing dependencies across multiple initiatives. Ability to “roll up sleeves” and contribute directly where needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Compliance, Quality Assurance, or a related field is required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in program management, project management, change initiatives, operations, or cross-functional coordination roles.
  • Experience working in enterprise national or global environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interdepartmental communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex initiatives and drive outcomes without direct reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications in compliance, quality management, or project management (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, PMP, Six Sigma).
  • Experience working across regions, divisions or with global teams is a plus.
  • Background in project or program management, business operations, or transformation initiatives preferred.
