About The Position

The Center Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for managing multiple program sites, staff teams, and community relationships to ensure Girls Inc. programming is delivered at full capacity and with the highest quality. This role oversees Lead Program Specialists and Facilitators across locations, ensuring consistency, excellence, and alignment with the Girls Inc. Experience. This individual is both a strategic and hands-on leader—someone who builds strong partnerships with schools and community organizations to recruit and retain girls, while also creating vibrant, welcoming spaces where girls feel inspired every day. The Center Manager brings energy, creativity, and initiative to ensure each center feels alive, engaging, and ever-evolving—through seasonal themes, camps, and special events that make each experience feel new and exciting for girls. This role requires a deep love for youth, a commitment to building trust with families, and a passion for creating opportunities that empower girls to be healthy, educated, and independent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sociology, Psychology, or related field required (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in youth development, program management, or education settings
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, including coaching and developing staff
  • Experience building partnerships with schools and community organizations
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and teams effectively
  • Passion for youth development and commitment to the Girls Inc. mission
  • Ability to engage diverse communities with cultural competence and inclusivity
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal)
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and current car insurance required
  • Ability to drive a 15-passenger van (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across multiple centers and school-based program sites
  • Supervise, coach, and support Lead Program Specialists and Facilitators to ensure high-quality program delivery
  • Ensure all programming aligns with the Girls Inc. Experience, mission, and strategic goals
  • Maintain program enrollment at or near capacity through strong recruitment and retention strategies
  • Monitor program quality through observation, feedback, and continuous improvement practices
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate program staff across sites
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development to build strong, effective teams
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
  • Support staff in goal setting, performance management, and growth
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with schools, community partners, and local organizations to expand program reach
  • Develop strategic partnerships that create a pipeline of girls into Girls Inc. centers and programs
  • Represent Girls Inc. in the community, advocating for girls and strengthening the organization’s presence
  • Build trust-based relationships with parents and guardians to support engagement and retention
  • Create engaging, welcoming, and dynamic center environments where girls feel safe, inspired, and excited to return
  • Lead efforts to design and refresh spaces with seasonal themes, camp experiences, and special events
  • Ensure centers reflect creativity, joy, and cultural relevance for the girls served
  • Promote a girl-centered environment that encourages leadership, confidence, and belonging
  • Ensure curricula and programming are delivered with fidelity and adapted to meet girls’ needs
  • Support expansion into new sites and communities through planning and implementation
  • Track and monitor program data including enrollment, attendance, and outcomes
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports, evaluations, and financial documentation
  • Utilize systems such as Compass 360, JotForm, and SharePoint for data tracking and reporting
  • Manage program budgets, documentation, and financial processes including deposits and reporting
  • Submit monthly reports on program performance, successes, and needs
  • Provide required data for grants, funding reports, and organizational reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all agency policies and procedures
  • Lead with creativity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Create a culture where staff and girls feel motivated, supported, and empowered

  • Support agency-wide events and cross-department collaboration
