About The Position

Overview GovCIO is currently hiring for a Change Manager to support modernization efforts. This position will be located in Hampton, VA at Joint Base Langley-Eustis and will be a fully onsite position. Responsibilities We are seeking a Change Manager to work at the intersection of innovation and precision, ensuring every product and service we deliver is built on a foundation of clear and actionable, and well-managed requirements. This position is located at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Virginia.

Requirements

  • High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance: TS/SCI Eligibility
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE,CCNA-Security, CySA+,CND)
  • Experience in developing and managing scope, objectives, and requirements
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications PROSCI PMP
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
  • ServiceNow understanding and experience
  • Lifecycle Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize employee adoption and usage of changes to processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures
  • Conduct impact analysis and assess change readiness, identifying key stakeholders and potential resistance points
  • Create and manage communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans to support change initiatives
  • Provide training and coaching to managers, supervisors, and employees to help navigate transitions effectively
  • Collaborate with project teams and departments to integrate management activities with project plans and ensure smooth implementation
  • Monitor and evaluate change adoption, track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues affecting the change scope, schedule, or quality
  • Act as a coach for leaders and executives, helping them fulfill their role as change sponsors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
