The Maine Community College System seeks to hire a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as the Maine Community College System (MCCS) senior information technology executive. Reporting to the President of the MCCS as part of the System senior leadership team, the CIO is responsible for oversight of all MCCS information technology functions. Working closely with the system president, college presidents and members of the senior leadership team, the CIO will work to provide strategic vision, leadership, and oversight for all IT operations, ensuring that technology investments support the System’s mission to meet student educational and financial needs by providing an optimal student experience through the use of a secure database infrastructure that supports a data-driven, evidenced based strategic approach to decision making. The position is a Confidential position.
