Position Summary: The Clubhouse Manager, reporting directly to the Executive Director, is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the life enrichment program for cottage residents, including planning and coordinating opportunities that promote health, wellbeing, engagement, and personal growth. This position manages clubhouse operations such as activity scheduling, event coordination, vendor relationships, and seasonal programming, while also providing direct support with meal service, light housekeeping, and regular resident check-ins. Acting as a consistent and approachable point of contact for residents and families, the Clubhouse Manager ensures the clubhouse operates efficiently, maintains a high standard of service, and fosters a vibrant, connected, and welcoming community environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required, Associate degree or technical school training, preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year related experience is required.
  • Background or education in management, sociology, or gerontology, preferred.
  • License to drive Community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of hired is required.
  • CPR or BLS certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with outside vendors.
  • Organize and schedule onsite activities such as, but not limited to fitness programs, happy hours and learning lectures.
  • Post the display calendar in the clubhouse and ensure paper copies are available to cottage residents, prospects and guests.
  • Maintain reservation list for clubhouse.
  • Attend all community planned functions and coordinating events from beginning to end including setup, run, and breakdown for the event.
  • Plan appropriate programs for holidays and special events and coordinate seasonal decorations for the clubhouse.
  • Complete weekly check-in calls to cottage residents.
  • Attend virtual monthly training calls held by Home Office Support.
  • Assist in addressing concerns collected from satisfaction surveys.
  • Assist with addressing family or cottage resident concerns.
  • Drive community vehicle for appointments as needed.
  • Assist with meals/food ordering as needed.
  • Light housekeeping as needed.
  • Inputting work orders in the TELS system.
  • Work well with others and take direction from management, as well as taking initiative with the capability to engage in conflict intervention and resolution for residents, families, employees, and others as needed.
  • Provide tours of the clubhouse and cottage to cottage residents and prospects.
  • Have flexibility to work evenings and weekends for special events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
