Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to operate a computer, telephone and other office equipment
• Competitive team player, with a positive attitude willing to learn and adapt to change
• Ability to communication, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced member service environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous financial institution expereince preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing routine collection duties on delinquent consumer accounts/loans and in compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Arrive each day full of energy and ready to provide outstanding service as you assist members with delinquent accounts while maintaining our tradition of trust and integrity.
• Cheerfully and in a professional manner, communicate with members by phone, mail, or in person, building positive relationships as you guide them toward solutions to bring their accounts current.
• Efficiently review delinquent accounts, document all activity, process notices such as bankruptcies or garnishments, and recommend next steps including payment plans or extensions.
• Utilize your knowledge of FCCU procedures and products to help members understand their options and regain financial stability.
• Provide respectful, empathetic service and genuinely care about finding real solutions to support members' financial well‑being.
• Take pride in being goal‑oriented, adaptable, and representing FCCU with professionalism and care at every interaction.
