Job Summary: This position will require a high level of knowledge about vehicles, service, the industry, our market, performance, accessories, financing and options from both our new and used inventories. As a Commercial Fleet Sales Representative, you are striving to maintain a steady stream of prospects, a continuous follow-up system using our CRM, and work closely with the commercial sales manager and commercial service department.

Requirements

  • Clean driving records and valid driver’s license required.
  • Must possess the ability to evaluate opportunities, prioritize, negotiate and close; results oriented.
  • Work with manager to set sales objectives, forecast sales, and complete reporting in CRM.
  • Must be a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work and communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization.
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Must possess ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
  • Must be innovative and creative; able to quickly evaluate facts and maintain good judgment when making decisions.
  • 3-5 years of experience of business-to-business sales relationship building.
  • Mechanical knowledge and truck equipment knowledge medium and light duty.
  • Customer service and or sales 3 years.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.
  • This position requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, with frequent walking.

Responsibilities

  • Works with customers on the telephone and in person to determine the make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
  • Identify and engage prospective truck-fleets and offer assistance or direction to business customers that can benefit from our services.
  • Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom and on the road.
  • Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.
  • Delivers new vehicle to customer. This process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty.
  • Maintains an owner follow-up system (CRM) that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains a prospect development system.
  • Remains knowledgeable of new products, features, accessories, etc.
  • Attends sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Adheres to Company policies and procedures.
  • Meets, or exceeds, written forecast and projection numbers.
  • Deliver and execute Casco Bay Ford’s turnkey customer proposition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
