About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting a group of Lenders and a complex portfolio of loan customers. They work closely with Lender, Portfolio Manager, internal department personnel and external customers to complete a variety of tasks associated with the origination and servicing of loans.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of loan terminology and documentation required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to plan and organize workflow
  • Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job duties
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Responsibilities

  • Input new loan data into the Commercial Lending Loan Origination System.
  • Prepare commitment letters and related correspondence.
  • Support payment processing, upfront fees, construction draws, covenant compliance, and wire transfers.
  • Organize loan document folders and gather required organizational, borrowing resolution, and beneficial ownership documents.
  • Conduct customer due diligence for individuals and businesses.
  • Assist in collecting financial and related reporting for the Commercial Lending team.
  • Assemble and review submitted documentation.
  • Submit appraisal orders and review insurance documents.
  • Order credit bureaus, title insurance, flood certifications, UCC searches, and EDR reports.
  • Coordinate with Loan Processor and closing attorney/title company for settlements.
  • Maintain and update the weekly pipeline report and participate in meetings.
  • Address post-closing items and quality control questions.
  • Process maturing loans and line renewals promptly.
  • Facilitate opening of new deposit accounts.
  • Monitor past due reports.
  • Scan and file loan and financial documents.
  • Frequent interaction with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
