The Community Relations Manager is responsible for developing, building, and maintaining programs and activities that will have a positive impact on the community. This role will connect community residents to community resources, including but not limited to medical, dental, behavioral health, substance use, employment and training programs, food shelves, public assistance, SSI and SSDI, childcare, transportation, subsidized housing opportunities, and legal assistance. The Community Relations Manager will build and maintain relationships with members of the community, key individuals and stakeholders, and other partnering organizations. This role will develop and implement a recruitment plan to solicit volunteers and expand available community resources through public relations activities, including conducting presentations to department staff, community groups, students, and residents. Key responsibilities include: •Serve as a point of contact for neighboring businesses, institutions, and communities •Be the principal ambassador for the organization, responsible for sharing its vision with the local community •Supervise the organization's Community Outreach Navigator team members and ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic initiatives
