About The Position

Assists in researching, organizing, interpreting, and preparing written assessments and executive summaries of information about the university’s compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and university policy. The analyst will search out and evaluate if the university is complying or in need of improvement.

Requirements

  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge on how to research data and the law.
  • Must exemplify the University Honor Code, including the dress and grooming principles and expectations.
  • Upper Division Courses Completed
  • 6 months of general work experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting research and writing executive summaries, position papers, reports, and other texts for a variety of compliance areas.
  • Performs research tasks such as interviewing university attorneys, managers, and other officials and performing internet and legal database searches to understand the requirements of specific federal and state laws and to translate the requirements into a common language.
  • Create compliance assessment checklists and monitoring programs.
  • Interview university employees and document the results of interviews.
  • Assess the university's level of compliance against applicable federal and state regulations, Church and university policies, etc.
  • Perform other supporting administrative roles within the department as assigned.
  • Learn skills in successfully communicating with senior managers of the university.
  • Other duties as assigned.
