About The Position

Doppel is built to outsmart one of the great threats AI presents: mass-manufactured social engineering. Countless scams, deepfakes, and other social engineering attacks are surging across every digital channel: websites, social media, ads, encrypted messaging apps, mobile, and more. Our mission is simple but bold: make the internet a safer place by outsmarting the world’s fastest-evolving online threats. Backed by a16z and Bessemer and trusted by some of the world’s most recognized brands (OpenAI, United Airlines, Coinbase, etc.), Doppel is growing fast. If you’re driven to solve real-world problems with bold technology, we’d love to meet you. Under Doppel's broader social engineering defense platform, Doppel HRM is an AI-native human risk management platform that helps organizations defend against social engineering attacks by combining realistic, threat-informed simulations, next-generation security awareness training, and outcome-driven risk modeling to measure and reduce human-targeted cyber risk — using the same tactics attackers use in the real world. We’re looking for experienced training content developers who care deeply about building learning that actually changes behavior — especially in high-stakes environments.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years creating training for enterprise audiences, ideally in cybersecurity, compliance, risk, or regulated environments
  • Are comfortable owning content end-to-end — from written modules to interactive scenarios, video storyboards, and simulations
  • Can design training that balances technical accuracy with strong narrative and behavioral insight
  • Think critically about how real attackers operate, and enjoy translating that into realistic, engaging learning experiences
  • Have experience building content for global audiences (or are thoughtful about localization, accessibility, and cultural nuance)
  • Are excited to collaborate with security, AI, and research teams, not just work from static requirements
  • Want to move beyond “check-the-box” compliance and help define what next-generation human risk training should look like

Nice To Haves

  • Built or designed interactive security simulations (phishing, vishing, social engineering, fraud, etc.)
  • Worked on training involving emerging threats (AI misuse, deepfakes, impersonation, misinformation)
  • Been on the practitioner side (security, IT, risk, compliance) before moving into content or instructional design

Benefits

  • Free lunch and dinner in the office
  • Flexible PTO
  • Quarterly team offsites
