Coordinator Special Programs Health Services I
About The Position
This position will coordinate doula services, kids in safety seats support and perinatal access to care activities for the Maternal Child Health Program at the Frederick County Health Department, Community Health Services Division. On a daily basis, this position will coordinate meetings with community organizations to facilitate strategic dialogue on improving perinatal access to care in Frederick County. This position will also review the functioning of Safe Kids Safety Seat distribution, doula service education and perinatal access to care activities weekly.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- One year of administrative staff or professional work in a health care setting.
- Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
- Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

- Experience with health educational training.
