About The Position

Build leadership capabilities by analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering leadership development programs for employees and leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, education, human resources, business, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience facilitating leadership development, training, and coaching required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience developing and administering leadership development programs, and supporting training design and delivery preferred

  • Personality Assessment certifications (DISC, MBTI) preferred
  • Crucial Conversations certification preferred
  • FranklinCovey content certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing needs analyses to understand and identify the development needs of Sheetz leaders necessary to achieving our strategy.
  • Work directly with the leadership development team to devise strategies to build leadership strength or close skill gaps.
  • Enhance leadership capabilities within employees and leaders by implementing (facilitating) high-quality, professional development programs on time and as advertised to internal customers.
  • Research and integrate technological innovations and industry best practices that will enhance Leadership Development’s ability to deliver a variety of effective learning interventions (design thinking, virtual online, microburst learning, etc.) and can be disseminated across all operating markets.
  • Source content, resources, methods, and partnerships to make recommendations for development solutions to the Corporate Leadership Development Manager.
  • Develop and analyze program evaluations and complete the necessary program enhancements based on key program metrics to ensure program execution and skill development.
  • Advise and coach employees and leaders on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and performance-improvement plans for themselves and their teams.
  • Use sound project management methodologies (project planning, mitigating risks) in meetings with internal business partners to determine development needs, scope projects and resources, and plan for high-quality solutions.
  • Assist with talent development requests, as needed, including involvement in facilitation of workshops for internal teams, corporate rollouts, business partner requests, and team/department meetings.
