About The Position

Customer Operations Coordinator This position is responsible for ensuring that sales processes run smoothly, data is accurate, and communication between departments and G&W Electric reps is timely and professional. They help streamline order management, quotation support, order entry, and ensure customer satisfaction. As a Customer Operations Coordinator you will: Provide support to internal teams, including preparing sales documents, updating CRM records, and organizing reports. Act as a primary point of contact by providing timely and professional responses to G&W Electric reps for all inquiries including redirecting to other internal teams. Set up, verify, and correct customer names, addresses, and their industry type in CRM and other databases after coordination with AR as needed. Review orders prior to entry to verify and correct any out of territory rep bookings and commissions with RVP. Lead purchase order corrections by coordinating with internal team members and G&W Electric reps. Once received, update G&W Electrics CRM and remove related holds. Provide training and support to G&W Electrics reps and RVPs as needed on quoting tools, CRM, and other systems. Assist with intercompany orders activity as required. Monitor orders in hold statuses and follow up with G&W Electrics reps for resolution. Report to Supervisor/Manager on a regular basis. Lead compiling agenda and scheduling for onsite customer factory acceptance tests. Coordinate with handing off an order to Power Grid Automation and After Market teams when product on order ships and their teams have to action scheduling field service/commissioning activities. Maintain and improve customer databases as needed. Help identify and support improvements to streamline the order process.

Requirements

  • Holds an associate degree or equivalent relevant experience. A Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • Has a minimum of 3 years customer service or related experience performing order entry along with some shipping/receiving/inventory experience
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Has a strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Has the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and systems with strong computer proficiency
  • Has the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses an analytical approach and ability to work effectively to solve problems
  • Has a proactive approach to continuous improvements and innovation
