Join us for our Summer 2026 Internship Program! Commvault is seeking a Customer Operations Intern to join our team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to support data-driven decision-making across our customer organization while gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration, business operations, and leadership-facing work. What is Customer Operations? Customer Operations focuses on enabling our customer-facing teams with the insights, processes, and operational rigor they need to be successful. As a Customer Operations Intern, you’ll help turn data into meaningful insights, support recurring and ad-hoc reporting, and contribute to improving how we plan, forecast, and communicate across the organization. You’ll work closely with team members across functions and gain visibility into how operational metrics support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with some data analysis capability
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program; open to rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors
  • Academic focus is flexible; business, data, or analytics-related fields are helpful but not required
  • Strong people skills with clear written and verbal communication abilities
  • Interest in learning how to engage cross-functionally and support leadership-facing work
  • Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively in a professional environment
  • Must be available to work from Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, August 7th
  • Candidate must be located within a commutable distance to our headquarters in Tinton Falls, NJ
  • Be at least 17 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled at an accredited institution
  • Be enrolled at an accredited institution the semester immediately following the summer internship program (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities

  • Support ad-hoc and recurring business reporting across customer organization metrics, leveraging Microsoft Excel and Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Help drive data and operational content for leadership QBRs, meetings, and presentations
  • Document and assist in improving organizational processes, including forecasting, communication structures and cadences, and business planning
  • Contribute to building a more consistent operating cadence for metrics and analytics across customer-facing functions
  • Partner cross-functionally and engage with stakeholders, including more senior leaders, to support operational initiatives
