About The Position

POSITION DETAILS – DMG1250 5 axis mill/turn with vertical and horizontal machining 55” vertical turning table with indexing capabilities 2 pallet machine (picture below right doesn’t show a pallet changer) Celos Siemens CNC control Capto C10 183 pocket tool changer Will machine medium to large size casing components and housings Operator will perform hydrostatic testing while machine is in operation

Requirements

• Use of mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables; various types of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• The associate may, in rare occasions lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Nice To Haves

• Related machining experience preferred
