We're hiring a Deposit Ops and Support Specialist II to join our Deposit Operations Team. HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm Additional phone support coverage will be assigned on a rotating basis: Friday 8:00am until 6:00pm Saturdays 9am to 1:00pm Wage Range: The salary for this position ranges from $18.37 to $23.32

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of banking and deposit operations, including business and POA documentation preferred
  • Experience with Jack Henry, Synergy or equivalent banking systems, Excel, Word, Adobe, Salesforce, Outlook and Teams preferred
  • Have the capability to complete all job duties remotely as required
  • Wage Range: The salary for this position ranges from $18.37 to $23.32

Responsibilities

  • Process, review and quality control of Synergy document batches scanned by Financial Centers and other departments daily (Signature cards, W9s, POAs, business and legal documents)
  • Reply to internal and external customer calls as part of Platform telephone support, answering questions relating to account opening, maintenance, Argo account opening platform, Qualifile, Xperience, Deposit Document Review Group, Officer Changes, etc.
  • Perform and assist the team in the following functions: CIF and Account file maintenance using Jack Henry, Argo, Xperience and E-sign
  • Daily review of reports as assigned on rotating basis
  • Process file maintenance and other departmental requests as assigned on rotating basis
  • Research and process promotional credits as assigned on rotating basis
  • Record and file legal documents, such as Death and Short certificates
  • Perform other routine department tasks such as filing, opening and sorting mail and provide backup for other department jobs as needed
  • Knowledge of basic IRA rules and regulations with a strong desire to learn about more complex IRA requirements
  • Accountable for correct coding of IRA transactions, including review of paperwork for accuracy, error resolution and filing of documents to Synergy
  • Assist customers with requests for transfers, rollovers, and reinvestments
  • Educate Financial Center platform team in IRAs through ongoing interactions, phone support and communication
  • Provide leadership, training and serve as secondary decision maker to department supervisor as required
  • Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned
