The American Liver Foundation (ALF) is the nation's leading non-profit organization dedicated to liver health and disease prevention. ALF promotes education, advocacy, support services and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The American Liver Foundation (ALF) seeks an enthusiastic, personable, and detail-oriented intern to support and assist the Development Department in its programming, promotion, and fundraising efforts. The National Development Intern will support Development Department in strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of fundraising efforts through planning and support of corporate and individual fundraising efforts. The National Development Intern will work directly with the Development Department to ensure that all objectives and goals are achieved. Upon successful completion of this 10-week internship, the selected intern will receive a $500 stipend paid in a lump sum amount. In addition, selected interns will receive resume-building experience and the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of development and nonprofit professionals. The intern may also receive educational credit hours if approved by their academic institution.
