Job Reporting Relationships Supervised by: Chief Operating Officer Supervises: N/A Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field – or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience with automation platforms and/or workflow technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into working solutions; obtain and maintain appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification. General Responsibilities Provide development, implementation, and management of the bank’s processes, AI capabilities, and digital ecosystem. Drive the organization’s digital transformation by ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility. Leverage analytics to support informed decision‑making. This role requires deep technical expertise paired with an understanding of community banking operations and customer needs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and support AI-driven tools and generative AI solutions that enhance internal and customer-facing processes.
  • AI Committee membership and participation required
  • Evaluate new technologies and digital capabilities to support the bank’s modernization strategy, recommending solutions that align with operational and regulatory needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital innovation, helping business units adopt and scale new tools effectively.
  • Lead the identification, design, and deployment of process automation solutions, including workflow automation, robotics process automation (RPA), low-code applications, and intelligent document processing.
  • Partner with departments to map processes, eliminate manual steps, reduce errors, and improve turnaround times.
  • Create automation playbooks, templates, and standards that support consistent and scalable development.
  • Develop and maintain structured data, metadata, and reporting frameworks that improve data accessibility and usability.
  • Support integration between digital platforms, core systems, and new tools introduced through automation or AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Information Security departments to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and secure handling in alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Serve as technical lead and implementer for digital tools and platforms supporting bank operations.
  • Gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet operational objectives.
  • Train users, create documentation, and support adoption of new digital processes across the bank.
  • Conduct testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement on implemented solutions to ensure optimal performance.

  • Work closely with operational and customer facing departments to design solutions that are aligned with departmental needs.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and support evaluation, onboarding, and performance monitoring of digital product providers.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management department to ensure organizational project standards are understood and applied.
  • Implements strategies to achieve goals assigned to the department as established in the bank's annual operating plan; assists in the development of the annual budget for the department and adheres to budget parameters.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.; ensures that the department and all personnel adhere to the same.
  • Communicate with the Chief Operating Officer, other department managers, and appropriate staff personnel to integrate goals and activities.

Benefits

  • Fulltime hourly-paid employees will be provided 12-days of Paid Time Off (PTO), that is accrued 1-day for each month worked.
  • After the completion of 90-days of employment accrued PTO can be used for any purpose including being paid for absences or vacation time.
  • At the end of the first year of employment, any unused PTO will be converted to the employee’s sick time accrual.
  • Sick time will begin accruing effective on the employees first year anniversary up to 120 days.
  • At that point, PTO is no longer available; and any paid absence will be eligible under the sick, vacation, personal and family sick pay policy.
  • After one year of service the employee is eligible for their annual vacation benefit.
  • Salaried-paid employees are not eligible for PTO and accrue paid sick days at 1-day per month; and any vacation time that has been approved for the 1st year of employment.
  • 12 paid holidays, 2 Personal days, 2 Family Sick days, 2 Volunteer Days after completion of 90 days of employment.
