Digital Project Manager - Contract to Hire

The Experience Design StudioPhiladelphia, PA
11hRemote

About The Position

Come join a unique and exciting design and technology agency that creates digital experiences for bold brands. If you like making a difference for clients and want to have an immediate impact on a budding and collaborative company that understands, respects and champions work-life balance, then this is the role for you. The Experience Design Studio is a digitally native company with remote staff and hubs outside of Philadelphia and Atlanta. We strive to create a fun, meaningful, hard-working, and rewarding environment that allows our team to deliver impactful results for our clients, with digital in our DNA. We’re looking for a mid-level Digital Producer who goes far beyond making Asana tickets. You’ll own the delivery of complex digital marketing and web projects end-to-end, partnering with designers, developers, strategists, and clients to make great work happen. You should be as comfortable crafting timelines and managing scopes as you are jumping in to QA a landing page, help optimize a paid search campaign, or troubleshoot an analytics tag. You bring calm to chaos, structure to complexity, and energy to every Zoom.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital production or project management within an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cross-functional understanding of digital marketing, web development/design, SEO, paid media, and analytics.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and web projects with high visibility and measurable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead delivery while contributing directly to execution when needed.
  • Experience working with multiple clients and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong grasp of PM tools and techniques (we use Asana, but your thinking goes far beyond checklists).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Reports to the Director.
  • Exceptional organizational, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and self-awareness. Sometimes projects can be challenging, and the right mindset, attitude and collaboration skills are key.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare supporting clients and brands across pharma and bio-tech.
  • Experience working in small, nimble agencies.
  • Experience working on lead-gen/growth marketing initiatives is a plus – primarily SEM and SEO.
  • This is more than a coordination role—it’s for someone who thrives in the gray, leads from the front, and gets energized by turning ideas into reality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage entire digital presence for clients (e.g. website management, intranet, banner ads, landing pages, paid media campaigns, email campaigns, print flyers, social media, SEO/SEM, etc.)
  • Proactively troubleshoot, resolve roadblocks, and keep projects moving smoothly—no babysitting needed.
  • Translate client goals into actionable plans with clarity, speed, and a deep understanding of modern digital marketing.
  • Monitor scope, budget, timelines, and interdependencies—always with an eye on outcomes.
  • Prepare and provide accurate status to internal teams and clients, including updates on delivery of campaigns, and identifying/communicating/resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Effectively guide, coach, and mentor peer digital producers to grow their skills and meet project objectives.
  • Drive and track interdependencies across digital platforms, work streams, communicate status and assist with maintaining team metrics.
  • Facilitate negotiations between stakeholders around scope and priority.
  • Jump in where needed across tasks—from resourcing and QA to documentation and optimization.
  • Be a self-starter. As a resourceful and resilient self-starter, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative and innovation are required.

Benefits

  • A respectful and inclusive culture that fosters work-life balance, teamwork and employee morale
  • Fully Remote
  • Full health benefits with 50% company coverage
  • Up to 6 weeks of total PTO between vacation/flex/sick/mental health days and holidays
  • Up to 6 weeks of fully paid maternity and paternity leave
  • 5 week sabbatical every 5 years of service
  • 401k w/ up to 4% match
  • Yearly performance-based bonus
