Your Role As Director, Enterprise Master Data, you will define and lead the enterprise strategy, governance, and operational transformation of master data across customer and product domains. You’ll establish scalable standards and governance frameworks that improve data integrity, enable automation, and unlock advanced analytics across the organization. You will play a critical role in building a structured data foundation that strengthens margin performance, improves supplier leverage, supports acquisitions, and drives operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in master data management, data governance, product information management, or customer data management.
Experience leading enterprise data strategy, governance frameworks, and data quality initiatives.
Solid understanding of data platforms and enterprise systems such as ERP, PIM, or CRM solutions (Dynamics 365 experience a plus).
Demonstrable ability to drive multi-functional transformation across supply chain, commercial, operations, finance, and IT.
Strategic approach with the ability to translate complex data challenges into scalable operational solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the enterprise master data strategy across customer and product domains, establishing scalable standards, governance models, and data frameworks.
Improve data integrity and consistency by eliminating duplication, expanding structured product attributes, and implementing quality controls across systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salsify.
Design and implement a federated data stewardship model that defines ownership, accountability, and governance across the organization.
Build standardized and repeatable master data processes that streamline customer onboarding, item setup, supplier integration, and reporting.
Enable stronger supplier engagement and margin optimization by improving product comparability, like-item visibility, and consolidated spend insights.
Establish and monitor enterprise master data performance metrics, including completeness, accuracy, duplication rates, and operational efficiency improvements.
Lead master data integration during acquisitions, ensuring newly acquired customer and product records align with enterprise standards.
Evaluate and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve classification, enrichment, duplicate detection, and decision support.
