The Role Own the story of Transparent Partners — and make the world feel it. Transparent Partners is the preeminent solutions firm driving marketing transformation through AI enablement. We're growing, we have a story worth telling, and we need someone with the energy, creativity, and chops to tell it — loudly and well. We're looking for a Director of Marketing to build, own, and drive our entire marketing engine. You won't be executing someone else's vision — you'll be re-defining ours. From the website to pitch materials, LinkedIn to live events, blogs to client sizzles, this is a build-it role for someone who gets fired up about brand storytelling and knows how to turn expertise into demand.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing — consulting, agency, or marketing technology environment strongly preferred
  • A proven builder: you've owned a marketing function, not just supported one
  • Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills — you can make complex ideas feel exciting and accessible
  • Deep experience with content marketing, thought leadership, and go-to-market materials
  • Hands-on with design tools and comfortable directing creative (Canva, Figma, or similar)
  • Strong project management skills — you juggle a lot without dropping anything
  • High energy, low ego, and relentlessly curious about marketing, media, and technology
  • Chicago-based

Responsibilities

  • Own the Brand Foundation
  • Define and steward how Transparent Partners shows up in the world — who we are, what we do, and why it matters
  • Lead a refresh (or overhaul) of our website so it clearly communicates our offerings, framework, and proof points
  • Build a content library that reflects our POV: blog posts, case studies, thought leadership, and social content that earns attention
  • Build the Marketing Engine
  • Drive our LinkedIn presence and content calendar with high-energy, insight-driven content that gets engagement
  • Develop and execute marketing activations including prototype/product sizzles, blogs, PR, and events
  • Own the editorial calendar and hold the content machine accountable — supported by SMEs and leadership
  • Arm the Revenue Team
  • Build best-in-class pitch materials: one- and two-pagers by offering, solution decks, case study slides, approach narratives, and offering-specific sizzles
  • Translate complex consulting work into crisp, compelling materials that make it easy to say yes
  • Partner with principals and leadership to capture and package our work as case studies that prove what we deliver
  • Activate in Market
  • Own our events strategy — conferences, sponsored activations, hosted experiences
  • Lead PR efforts to build Transparent Partners' presence in the industry conversation
  • Test new channels and formats; if it builds the brand and fills the pipeline, you're on it
