About The Position

Directs, plans, implements and evaluates a portfolio of value-based programs. Develops programs that provide increased services to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures. Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders in order to facilitate a common vision for patient movement and placement within the health system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

Nice To Haves

  • EPIC & EHR experience PREFERRED
  • Behavioral Health experience PREFERRED

Responsibilities

  • Leads a Program Management group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
  • Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
  • Recommends, implements and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives and budget; and reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.
  • Ensures optimization of workflows and processes in order to achieve measured standards and continuously improve staff, system performance and quality.
  • Collaborates with management in program development, problem resolution, and strategic planning/implementation.
  • Works across multi discipline service lines to optimize and standardize operational, financial and clinical workflows, information management and critical time sensitive clinical timelines to reduce variation, and improve patient outcomes.
  • Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations; and provides information on available program services.
  • Selects, develops, manages and evaluates the performance of staff.
