About The Position
Westaff is seeking both a Warehouse Dispatcher and Logistics Coordinator in Wallingford, CT and Windsor, CT! Pay starting at $22/hr+ based on experience Warehouse Dispatch Hours: (Wallingford, CT) Shift: Overnight; Sunday night- Friday morning, 11pm-7:30am Logistics Coordinator Hours: HYBRID SCHEDULE (Windsor, CT) Shift: Friday-Monday 9am-7pm (10 hour days)
Requirements
- Experience with AS400 or comparable systems
- Knowledge of logistics, routing, and fleet operations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Accurate data entry and documentation abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines
- Lift up to 40LBS
Nice To Haves
- Forklift exp is a plus not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute freight movements using AS400 or similar TMS
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates
- Optimize routes to improve efficiency and control costs
- Assist with fleet management and shipping/receiving
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records
