About The Position

Our E-Commerce Sales Specialists handle various tasks to contribute greatly to sales growth and overall business development. This role is integral to all aspects of the business and includes a diverse mix of day-to-day responsibilities. Responsibilities include providing thorough and helpful customer service through phone, online chat, email, and in-person methods, fostering sales leads, managing customer orders, and tracking performance in line with sales goals. This role offers ample opportunities for e-commerce career development, including learning the management of product information/product listings and identifying emerging e-commerce trends in the appliance and home improvement space. The ideal candidate will be able to independently manage and prioritize responsibilities and work collaboratively with other team members to reach sales goals. Many candidates will often apply the knowledge learned in this position to later achieve positions in Management, Sales, Marketing, and Account Management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED - required
  • Strong written and verbal communication via telephone, email, instant messaging, and in-person communication methods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently prioritize short and long-term tasks
  • Strong computer skills (MacOS, preferably)
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce
  • Interest in long-term career growth and advancement

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and employ tactics in increasing sales, including upselling
  • Experience working with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM Systems (preferably Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides) & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
