We are seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team in Huntsville, AL. This role supports our high‑volume STERLING Vikrell tub and shower manufacturing operations across our Production and Distribution facilities. Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (duties assigned based on skill level). Assist with installation, adjustment, and rebuilding of machinery and components. Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic diagnostics; escalate complex issues as needed. Interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions. Support mold repair activities such as cleaning, adjustments, and minor component replacements (Level‑specific for advanced repairs). Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation. Identify potential equipment issues and notify appropriate maintenance staff or leadership. Perform general facility/grounds support tasks such as insulating pipes, protecting surfaces, and basic building upkeep. Maintain tools, inventory supplies, and follow all safety, SOP, and LOP requirements. Collaborate with team members and assist less experienced technicians when needed. Perform other duties as assigned based on skill level and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Mechanical proficiency and willingness.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Maintenance.
  • Competency demonstrated through technical testing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively for manufacturing production processes.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 45-106 pounds or more.
  • Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical technology or equivalent desired
  • Forklift experience preferred.
