About The Position

Electro-Mechanical Reliability Technician, Plastics Plattsburgh, NY — Keep high-volume thermoforming lines running safely and efficiently. Quick facts Hourly Rate: $34.66 Shift: 6:00am–6:00pm Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation Apply by Text: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX) Your impact Perform planned electrical maintenance to protect equipment health and uptime on thermoforming assets. Troubleshoot and repair blenders, crystallizers, dryers, extruders, formers, trim presses, conveyors, and grinders. Diagnose AC/DC drives and motors; PLC/PC control systems; heater circuits, thermocouples, and temperature controllers; and machine safety circuits. Enhance equipment by implementing upgrades and performance improvements. Record findings, parts, and labor; open/close work orders accurately and promptly in Maintenance Connection. Maintain exemplary housekeeping; follow all safety requirements and company policies. Tools & tech you’ll touch PLC platforms: Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron (preferred) PC-based HMI and control interfaces AC/DC variable speed drives and motor systems Industrial heaters, thermocouples, and heat controllers Safety relays and interlocks Qualifications High school diploma/equivalent; 2‑year Electro‑Mechanical degree preferred. 3–5 years of related industrial maintenance experience. Strong background in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical/electrical blueprint reading; familiarity with welding and fabrication. Demonstrated troubleshooting ability in both electrical and mechanical domains. Knowledge of PLC and PC controls. Owns and safely uses personal tools. Team-oriented; flexible for overtime and off-shift coverage when needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma/equivalent; 2‑year Electro‑Mechanical degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of related industrial maintenance experience.
