About The Position

At FS-Elliott, our Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a rotational program designed to provide entry-level engineers with hands-on experience across multiple engineering roles within our organization. Through structured rotations, participants gain exposure to various product lines, job functions, and business processes. Program Overview Participants will complete three six-month rotations in different departments based on their education, experience, and business needs. Potential rotation areas include: Applications Engineering Project Engineering Product Engineering (Sustaining and New Product Development) Controls Engineering Product Management Project Management Additional technical or cross-functional departments as applicable Throughout each rotation, participants will execute meaningful assignments aligned with departmental goals and manager expectations. Engineers in the program will actively support Continuous Improvement initiatives and participate in periodic technical and professional development training. In addition to primary rotations, participants will complete short-term (approximately two-week) immersive experiences in other areas of the organization. These may include Manufacturing, a Fusheng branch location, and other operational or functional teams to provide broader business exposure. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition into a permanent technical role aligned with their strengths, performance, and organizational needs.

  • Sound judgment and the ability to make timely, effective decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) from a four-year college or university, or 2–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
