Joining GRTC means being part of a mission-driven team with the chance to make a lasting impact on how people move and connect. SUMMARY: The Transportation Operations Executive Assistant provides high-level operational, administrative, and strategic support to the Assistant Director of Transportation – Bus Operations. This role is designed to enhance leadership effectiveness by managing priorities, tracking operational initiatives, and ensuring execution across a fast-paced, 24/7 transit environment. Unlike a traditional administrative role, this position operates as a coordinator of operational priorities—supporting performance tracking, cross-functional communication, and follow-through on key initiatives across Bus Operations, Customer Service, and related departments. The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining organizational discipline by ensuring projects, action items, and performance commitments are documented, monitored, and advanced. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate independently in a high-accountability, operationally complex environment.
