The Fabrication Foreman position involves overseeing the coordination of materials, labor, and equipment to ensure timely and high-quality installation according to the fabrication schedule. The individual is responsible for maintaining quality control standards, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code and all local regulations. They are expected to thoroughly understand project plans and technical drawings, identify and report any issues that may delay production, and use the appropriate tools and methods to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of five years’ experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Possessing a WI state Journeyman’s License.
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid, or able to obtain certification shortly after start date.
  • NFPA70E training.
  • OSHA 10 training.
  • ARC Flash training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliveries based on customer schedules.
  • Organize the materials, labor, and equipment necessary for timely installation per the fabrication schedule. Ensure the quality of workmanship for these products.
  • Report daily performance of job to supervisors such as crew status and crew needs, task performance, and technical abilities.
  • Quality control all products at applicable intervals to ensure customers’ expectations are being met.
  • Ensure that all work is done using the proper tools, equipment, and appropriate materials. All while following standard safety procedures necessary for completing the job in the most efficient manner.
  • Monitor and report on the project’s progress, and impact of changes in scope in comparison to the schedule established. Report any potential problems which may delay progress of production.
  • Lead with high-level professionalism and courtesy when interacting with team members, co-workers and managers.
  • Demonstrate commitment to zero accidents, as every accident is preventable through training, risk prevention, and continuous improvement.
