About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the only company in the world completely dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly (commonly called flat head syndrome). With over 300,000 babies successfully treated, we are the plagiocephaly experts and the leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. Cranial Technologies, located in Tempe, AZ manufactures the DOC Band®, a cranial orthotic product that is custom-made to each baby’s head. The DOC Band® is the first FDA approved head band to correct cranial asymmetry. This position is a perfect fit for anyone who may have had experience or a background in machining, woodworking, cabinetry, home remodeling or those comfortable working with a variety of tools including belt sanders, routers, etc. Your career at Cranial Technologies would be more than just a job. As a Fabrication Technician, you will work on our DOC Band®, using basic hand tools to smooth and remove any rough edges, make minor adjustments, and attach a strap to the head band. You’ll be working with a dynamic group of employees who are passionate about the work they do and are dedicated to the babies we treat. Our team members enjoy working in an invigorating environment, have an interest in learning in a collaborative setting, and most of all bring a positive attitude! In addition to being part of the team that manufactures the DOC Band®, we offer an outstanding work environment: Work Monday - Friday, with no shift work, no nights, and rare weekend work. (Typical schedule is 6:30AM - 3:00PM) We will train you to perform the work and help make you successful in the position with a typical 4-6 week training period. Work inside (in the A/C) our fabricating area located in Chandler and that is one of the cleanest in Arizona!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Hand eye coordination and ability to work with your hands!
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • If you have an artist’s eye for detail, like to craft or create on your own time, or have played sports - all are useful skills!
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
