About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Field Service Manager, the Field Service After-Sales Associate is responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth within an assigned territory. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities through cold calling, inbound web leads, referrals, and industry networking. The Associate will proactively engage prospective customers, present maintenance and service solutions, and consult with clients to understand their operational needs. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, persistence, organization, and a results-driven mindset with a passion for closing sales and building long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two or three year College degree
  • min. 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • proficient with computers and intermediate level of MS Office Suite; SFDC; Syspro.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and respond to customer maintenance requests and service inquiries within the assigned territory.
  • Proactively conduct cold calls and make multiple outbound calls daily to generate new business opportunities.
  • Research and identify potential customers through business directories, web searches, digital platforms, tradeshows, conferences, and referrals.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and partner channels.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate maintenance services and value-added solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and service proposals tailored to prospective client requirements.
  • Answer prospective client questions, conduct follow-ups, and guide customers through the full sales cycle.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently via phone and email while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, project management, field service, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects, activities, and opportunities in CRM systems such as Salesforce and tracking tools like Excel.
  • Close sales effectively and support clients through the onboarding and post-sale process.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and report performance metrics and variances as required.
  • Stay current on company products, service offerings, features, and industry trends to effectively position solutions.
