Summary: Responsible for prep, coat and unprep of board assemblies that require conformal coating.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Inventory control methods (i.e. shortages, NCM process, and understanding of work order system).
  • Computer skills pertaining to all material transactions.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacture and work instructions with the capability of identifying types of conformal coating, understanding of cure schedules and coating requirements.
  • Math skills with the capability of mixing conformal coatings to correct ratios per manufacturing instructions.
  • Passing the Respiratory Testing and Fit Test Initially and Annually.

  • Team members will be required to attend various training classes to ensure adequate knowledge of company specific information, customer, regulatory, and other requirements as determined by job process, Standard operating procedures or other elements as required.

Responsibilities

  • Locate manufacturing instructions.
  • Identify different types of coatings and thinners, mark storage containers properly and review shelf life prior to usage.
  • Demonstrate proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials.
  • Follow requirements for Set up, 1st piece inspection and in-process audits.
  • Follow basic techniques in operation and preventative maintenance of HPLV spray gun and aerosol cans.
  • Follow basic techniques in measuring “wet” film thickness.
  • Prep/unprep complex components from steps in manufacturing instructions.
  • ITAR restrictions when dealing with badges and ITAR related materials and documentation.
