About The Position

In the Final Assembly Technician role, you assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these. Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or engineering, following established procedures. Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists as required by supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering. Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed. Receive, pick, label, pack, and prepare materials and assemblies for shipment. Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report shortages to the appropriate personnel.Inspect all assemblies for secure hardware, completeness, and cleanliness. Respond to change notices, customer-requested adjustments, and development needs. Maintain active forklift certification. Operate an overhead crane. Work at heights ranging from 4 to 15 feet.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
1 year of manufacturing experience.

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with persuasive and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in a team‑based environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime to support business needs.
Ability to use various hand tools to assemble components and verify quality in a Lean manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble units.
Ability to use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook and job‑specific software including Enovia.

Nice To Haves

3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
3 months of experience using hand and air (pneumatic) tools.
South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent
