About The Position

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Be the friendly face and first point of contact.
Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is essential.
Proficient Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge required.
Physical Endurance: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Flexibility: Must be available for weekend shifts.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain.
Handle Physical Demands: Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
SORA CARD or able to obtain.
Comfortable doing Mobile and foot patrol.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) with a clean motor vehicle record!
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
WITH THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED TO BE AVAILABLE 2 OUT OF THE 3 SHIFTS AND 6 OUT OF 7 DAYS!
WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS.
