About The Position

The Food Team Member is responsible for running a computerized cash register, counting back change, and preparing the most unique food a water park can offer all while Creating Memories Worth Repeating® with our guests!

This position starts 5/2/2026 and ends 09/7/2026.

Must be at least 16 years of age

Requirements

• Basic math skills including making change and counting change back to guests.
• Able to complete an in-house ServSafe food training class.
• Able to communicate efficiently.
• To be considered for this cohort, you must be currently enrolled in Green Forest High School for the 2026-2027 school year
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• The ability to lift 20 pounds frequently to 50 pounds maximum
• The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
• The ability to work in extreme weather frequently
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions continuously
• The ability to work at a rapid speed frequently

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take guest product orders.
• Make customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain a themed environment.
• Prepare and cook food products.
• Handle cash and make change while operating Point of Sale registers.
• Properly handle customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Maintain a safe food environment and following safety procedures.
• Clean and bus tables as assigned.
• Utilize suggestive selling.
• Implement shop closing and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain positive, helpful relationships with teammates.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as deemed necessary.
