The FP&A Data Analyst plays a vital role on our Financial Planning & Analysis team, driving financial clarity across the organization. You’ll help guide business decisions by delivering accurate, insightful reporting and analysis. This role is perfect for someone who loves digging into data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science,
  • 3–7 years in data analysis or a finance-related role (Internships and co-ops count!)
  • Experience using analytical tools such as SQL, R, Python, and/or BI360 to analyze data
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx.
  • Finance/Accounting experience and knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Experience with financial statement analysis, cash flow, financial metrics and general ledger is desired.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with budgeting software and general ledger accounting systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing deadlines with a strong sense of urgency and across multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with demonstrated experience working with diverse data sources.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, maturity of judgement and comfort with on-demand, independent problem solving and/or to seek support when required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver meaningful financial and operational analytics, including KPIs, revenue/margin insights, expense trends, and customer/operations metrics.
  • Analyze financial systems and data processes, identifying improvement opportunities and communicating recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools used by Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
  • Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Prepare polished management reports and presentations for the Senior Executive Team and Board of Directors.
  • Create supporting documentation such as data dictionaries and end-user guides to strengthen organizational understanding of reporting tools.
  • Take a central role in the annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes.
  • Support change management efforts as new reporting tools and processes roll out across the company.
